Wales Interactive is bringing its acclaimed survival horror Maid of Sker to virtual reality on 17th March. Originally announced for November on Quest and PS VR2, Wales Interactive are proud to reveal this new date to include support for SteamVR.
The VR adaptation invites players to explore the haunted halls of Sker Hotel at true scale while confronting the Quiet Ones, a terrifying group of enemies who hunt by sound.
Maid of Sker VR focuses on grounded VR interaction, careful movement and the tension of non lethal survival. Players rely on the Phonic Modulator to stun enemies and search the hotel for clues linked to the Welsh legend of Elisabeth Williams and the dark past of the Williams family.
The original Maid of Sker holds an 80 percent positive rating from more than 1600 Steam reviews, with the VR version introducing a new level of closeness and atmosphere for players who want a more physical and immersive experience.
Maid of Sker VR supports 15 languages including Welsh and will be available for £19.99, $24.99 and €24.99 on Meta Quest 3, PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR devices including Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality and Quest with PC and Link Cable.
