ANALYTICS AND SALES ANALYST POSITION
We are looking for an attentive, detail orientated Analytics and Sales Analyst position to drive insights and optimisation in multiple facets of the business. As an Analytics and Sales Analyst, you will be involved in understanding and analysing user and business needs, ensuring outcomes are aligned with Wales Interactive’s strategic direction. You will demonstrate the ability to challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose. This is your opportunity to act as a trusted advisor on matters relating to digital data.
You must be able to work independently at times and collaboratively with a diverse team when necessary.
The Analytics and Sales Analyst position is full time.
About the Role
As a Digital Analyst, you’ll be defining and developing suitable metrics to ensure the digital business have a clear view of success. You’ll also be undertaking detailed analysis of digital data to generate business intelligence.
Your key responsibilities may include:
Developing new insights from the range of digital analytics tools to drive effective engagement
Develop insights into possible improved customer experience
Data driven opportunities for optimisation campaigns and implementation using the appropriate programmes and tools
Collaborating with other departments to enhance product knowledge and expand awareness
Investigating new ways to improve the product using new or existing data sources - no one will say no to a good idea!
Project-based work on a range of new, data-driven initiatives.
In addition, you’ll be:
Providing consultancy on strategies to reduce customer friction and improve funnel conversion rates across digital channels
Creating reports to inform relevant management in the business
Identifying possible consequences of change and estimating modifications or developments to achieve the objectives
Analysing benefits and identifying strengths and weaknesses
Managing stakeholder engagement and identifying stakeholders
Previous experience within an Analytical/Sales role is essential
Good numerical reasoning and logic ability with problem solving skills
Good interpersonal skills as you will need to communicate complex information to non-technical parties in various form.
Engaging effectively with colleagues across the team and wider business to deliver objectives, driving conversations and diffusing conflict
A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
To be able to work independently at times and collaboratively with a diverse team when necessary
Be commercially aware of the industry and relevant sectors
